New word ~ “ orientation “

I learned a new word -“ orientation “from the Chapter 15 Of “The Third Ear” recently .

Original sentence:
This is much more ‘cute’ than the male form, and would position you with a gender orientation that might not accurately reflect what you wanted to project .

“ orientation “ means “ the particular things that a person prefers, believes, thinks or usually does“

I try to practice making up sentences:
1. This school will consider the religious belief orientation of students when enrolling students.
2. The company employ people without regard to their political orientation.
3. The author of this book have a heavy orientation to social psychology .
