The adult advantage
The adult have some of advantage in himself, those advantage can help them to learn the second language.For one thing, The adult has many concepts in this world.In him experience,already understand many concepts,when an adult learn a new language that when he learn a new word or a phrase, he isn`t learning a new concept, he just learning a new label.In his mother tongue,he was already understand the concept, he used a label to represent it, now he just learning a new label to represent it.The second,an adult already used a language for many age,he already understand that how to represent meaning of his mind, he don`t feel strange for represent a sentence.and an adult know in this world ,it`s must a label to represent what he meet,and he just to find out them,then practice them until remember down them,it`s easy for him,because when he mastered him mother tongue, he had been did it once,he just did it again.
So,when we know the adult advantages that it`s how to help us to learn a foreign language?I think the first we must understand, for adult ,it`s don`t first do it for learn language,the adult did it before,and they were succeed,it`s not difficult for them.for learn a foreign language,just like walk again the way of learn language,it`s don`t new thing for them. And they understand the many concepts,they don`t need to spend time understand the world or new concepts, they just practice new label about the world.and how to connect those labels.
Is second language learning easier for adult than the children.because the adult has many concepts in this world , they has been master a sort of labels , learn a second language just master other sort of labels for them.they know there must have label to represent the things of world, whatever specific object or abstract concept,they just find out new label to represent it,learn a second language no longer understand new concepts, because in the before they already understand those concepts. for children, they don`t the concepts about the world, learn a second language need master new concepts.On the other hand,the adult has been mastered mother tongue successful,it`s important.because in adult experience,they already mastered a language easily and fun.the children don`t have this experience,they don`t know any concept and any experience about learn language,learn new language need to master some of new concepts,they even need learn how to connect word and phrases.so I think the adult learn the second language easier and faster than the children,because the adult have many experience can help to learn new language, the children don`t have.and the adult got some ability from past experience, it also can help them to learn the second language, and the children also don`t have those ability, so the adult learn second language than the children.
