Perceive patterns

Sometimes I still be used to thinking English in Chinese mode. So I often use some redundant words unconsciously.

For example , a sentence I made recently ― “The clean dining environment and friendly service attitude are my most satisfying.”

After the coach’s correction, I find the “attitude”is redundant word, because “friendly service” is enough to express its meaning.

For another example ― “The car was speeding too fast.”

“too fast” in the sentence is a redundant word, because “speeding” already means “too fast”.

Therefore, English learning requires more practice, so that I can gradually perceive the pattern and master the rules.
