I learned the new word -“ in your favour “from the Chapter 14 Of “The Third Ear” recently .
Original sentence:
The whole thing then becomes a positive spiral, working in your favour.
“in your favour“ means “ good for someone (or have an advantage for someone) or keep someone in a good position“
I try to practice making up sentences.
1. This student has a lot in her favour, especially her experience of performing.
2. The insistent determination would work in your favor.
3. Calm down and wait for the opportunity, chances are in your favour.
