Active involvement! (Leseson 493)

Long time no see. I miss you so much. How are you doing these days? I’m still the same as always – just busying with work. But now I’m learning the English Again. Yes, That’s right. You know, English is always my confusion. After college, I almost never learned English again. Different from the traditional way, now I learn English through a new method. No words, No grammar. Just learn a language through the natual method. This name of the method is Kungfu English.

Today I will introduce one of the idea in Kungfu English. The idea is the importance of actively in learning process. In fact, whether learning a foreign language or a new skill, learning atitude is very important. Even in everyday life, it’s also good for us that have a active attitude. It doesn’t fake! I have always had no confidence in language learning. You know, I had learned some language, English, Japanese, a littele Russian. But I even don’t retain one of them right now. In other words, I thought I’m passive in language learning before, opposite to active. Obviously, it’s better be active than passive in a foreign language learning. Next, let me talk about my experience of several language above continuely.

As I mentioned above, I learned many language in college. But the difference is the reason to start learning. English was a required subject, I had to pass the exam in college, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to graduate. Russian was my chosen subject, it only concerned my one credit. If I can’t passed the exam of Russian, I would chose the other subject and it’s ok to make anthor subject to passed. The result was esaily came to mind – I passed the English exam and I didn’t pass the Russian exam. Even through I passed the exam of English, I still haven’t learned English very well.

NEXT, Japanese was my interest in. I like Japanese drama and star at that time, I wanted to know everything about on the Japanese internet. On the one hand, I wanted to watch the Japanese drama directly. On the other hand, it’s too slowly knew the news just through the translation groups. So I had to teach myself Japanese. I had looked for the course on internet and look for any chances to practice with the foreign teacher in college. I learnd Japanese very quickly at that time actually. Even I could travel alone for half a month without interpreter. But fortunately, after COVID, I have no contact with Japan. I don’t use it, then I lose it.

I think, these examples illustrate the importance of active.
