Language learning can be modelled

I will share my reflection of chapter 4 to chapter 6 in The Third Ear.

Language learning can be modelled, and we can copy the methods used by successful language learners. These methods are their strategies of thinking, acting, and feeling about the language-learning process .

First of all, concentration is the most important.

We must concentrate on “communication”.

The purpose of learning language is to “communicate”.

When we are concentrating on communication, language is a tool.

We do everything we can to express it in various ways, such as movements, facial expressions, gestures, and simple words.

Whether right or wrong, we just use it.

We will get response,get feedback.

Especially when we say something wrong, the reaction that others give us will make us unforgettable for life.

In this way, our ability to express will be better and better.

In addition, it is also important to observe the sounds around us and start practicing daily conversations.

Listen to the real voice, and feel its meaning in culture, it is possible to speak like a native speaker.

Immersing in the daily conversations, we will perceive some patterns that appear repeatedly.

The more we get to practice, the more we dig grooves in our mind that make it easier and easier to use the language until expressing is automatically and naturally.
