Interesting world.

I’m about thirty years old.In my life I speak chinese everyday not english.So my english is too weak.I can’t write anything use english.I’m have to write some simply english.

In english something on top of the fridge and in top of the fridge is different.But in chinese I can say 在冰箱上面 to convey this.

    Don’t worry. You can make it work.

    嗯?我思考了一下你的表达,然后再想有什么例子….

    how = 怎样 are = 是 you = 你

    如果how are you ?是以中文逻辑联想,就会变成 : 怎样是你?
    那么就无法了解英语确切要表达的含义了?不是吗?

    嗯,这算是语言的逻辑吧~

      Yeah,I just mean that English is different form Chinese.We can’t translate by word.We must know how and why he said it and use another langurge to say it.

    English is actually more specific than Chinese. If you say “在冰箱上面”, do you mean it’s inside the fridge and on the top shelf? OR, do you mean it’s outside the fridge on the “roof” of the fridge?

    English makes different distinctions to Chinese. “On top of” means outside the fridge sitting on the “roof” . “In the fridge on the top” means inside the fridge, and on the top shelf. 🙂

    By the way, you have made a very good start in writing your English. It’s simple, but it conveys (传达) your meaning very well.
