it was a christmas holiday for sam.

he is a chef and like cooking.to celebrate the chrismas, he wanted to have a party,cooked some dishes and greeted his relatives and friends. so sam went to the supermarket in the mall,bought the chicken,the leg of lame, some potatoes, a lot of carrots, a cabbage,some cans of coke, and some snacks.for a exchange gift, he also bought a woolen sweater in the clothing store in the mall.

next,it’s cooking time.

the first dish: the roasted chicken.here are some steps.sam took out the chicken ,four carrots,two potatoes from the fridge.he put the chicken into the roasting pan, and put four carrots and two potatoes in the toasting pan with the chicken. he took the butter out of the fridge,spread the butter on the chicken with the knife.he sprinkled some salt and a few of chilli pepper powder on the chicken and carrots, potatoes.he open the oven,then took the roasting pan with the chicken and carrots,potatoes and put them into the oven.he shut the oven ,then turned on the oven.he roasted the chicken for one hour.the time was over.he took the roasted chicken and carrots&potatoes out of the oven.wa~ sam smelled the chicken.it smells very dilicious.then he sliced the chicken, put the sliced chicken and carrots&potatoes on the serving dish. the finally, take the serving dish with chicken and carrots&potatoes and put them on the kitchen table.

the second dish :the boiling cabbage.like above,sam take the cabbage out of the fridge.he turned on the water tap, put the cabbage under the water tap,then washed the cabbage.he chopped the cabbage with a knife so quickly. then he turned on the tap again, poured the water into the pot.he lighted the gas on the stove,put the pot of water on the stove.he put the chopped cabbage into the pot, then poured the salt into the pot. when it was boiling, it was served. he put the boiling cabbage on the serving dish again.

the third dish:the fried tomatoes.sam’s favorite vegetable were the tomatoes.unlike above.the tomatoes were not in the fridge.sam planted the tomatoes on the balcony.

he picked up the tomatoes from the balcony ,then went back the kitchen.sam smell the tomatoes,said:oh,it’s feel fresh. he turned on the water tap and wash the fresh tomatoes. he cut the tomatoes with a knife. he took the fring pan out of the kitchen cabinet.he lighted the gas and put the frying pan on the stove.he poured the oil on the fring pan,then put the cut tomatoes on the fring pan,sprinkle the salt and the chilli pepper on the frying pan. after a while. the smell of the tomatoes&the chilli pepper came out.san took the tomatoes on the serving dish and put the dish on the kitchen table again.

sam likes western food and also like chinese food.even though he had learned cooking the western food, he still wanted to learn to cook the chinese food in chinese. for this reason,he is now learning chinese at night.in the classroom, usually,the teacher wrote the letters or word,for example ‘doufu 豆腐’ on the blackboard.then the teacher spoke the meaning of word.at the same time,sam would copy the word from the blackboard into his notebook,then read it,remember it.some,sam asked the teacher questions about the chinese recipes,sometimes,sam listened the teacher’s replay. at this christmas party,sam also invited the chinese tacher.

in the christmas evening,sam’s relations and friends came one after another.they tasted the roasted chicken,the cooked carrots&potatoes, the boiled cabbage,the fried tomatoes.they had a wonderful evening tonight.
