Lesson 130 homework

Today is Saturday, it’s sunny, and Linda’s children Tom and Lucy want to play in the park that stands to the north of the village. After breakfast, Linda cleaned the house, and she had done it for about half an hour. She thought she must take a bottle of water with her in case her children felt thirsty. she placed a water bottle under the tap, and turned on the tap, she was ready to fill up the water bottle with water,  and five seconds later, the bottle was full. she closed the bottle and put it on top of the table. she opened the bedroom door, walked into the bedroom, and picked up the coat and the hat. she put them on and grabbed the water bottle from the table, then she took the key off the hook on the wall. she found her children playing in the yard, so she locked the door. Tom was sitting on top of the car, and Lucy was hopping around the car. Linda said: “my dears, we walk to the park rather than drive the car. now let’s go.”  They walked across the village and arrived at the park. it’s so many people in the park, and the park had many big toy animals.  Linda sat on the park bench. Lucy sat on top of the toy elephant’s trunk. Tom climbed up the tree. about ten minutes later, Linda heard a loud screaming from that tree.  she suddenly stood up from the bench and run to the tree. she found her son crying and asked what was going on. her son Tom pointed at the bottom of the tree and said: “there was a snake, it’s just here   but now it’s gone.” “Now let’s go home.” Linda said. her daughter Lucy run to Linda and said: “mummy, there’s a little girl who runs from the snake, and there’s a green snake hiding in the leaves. Linda was afraid of the snake scarring her children, so they walk backward across the park. they rushed back home. Linda found it only spent half an hour to go out. she told her children that they had to play in the yard.
