The topic of today’s dialogue practice was “How do you say that in English?”

Based on the course dialogue, I tried to lengthen the situational dialogue and imagine how I would express it under such situation.

A: Hi Tom, how can I say “可樂”in English?
B: Coke.
A: Got it, thanks. What about “薯條”？
B: French fries.
A: Sorry I didn’t catch that, can you say it again?
B: French fries.
A: Could you please say it more slowly?
B: French fries.
A: I see. Thanks a million.
B: You’re welcome.

A: Let’s go to McDonald’s. My treat.
B: It is so sweet of you ! You helped me last time. It should be my treat.
A: You bet. Don’t forget that you are my best friend.
