The topic of today’s dialogue practice was about catching up with a date. Based on the course dialogue, I tried to lengthen the situational dialogue and imagine how I would express it under such situation.

A: You are in a hurry. Where are you going?
B: I am going to the restaurant.
A: Who are you going to meet?
B: My friend is waiting to have dinner with me.
A: Enjoy your dinner.
B: Thank you ! Now, it’s just rush hour , I am worried about traffic jams.
A: I think you should call your friend first, tell her that you are leaving the company now, you may late a bit due to the traffic jam. Ask her to wait for a while.
B: Ok, I will call her right away.
