It’s a challenge to immediate response. I remembered that aunts asked me about the material used for scraping. I wanted to say 瓷器or glass, but I didn’t know how to say 瓷器, so I described it as much as possible. l said, “The surface is smooth,” and picked up the glass and touched the edge of the cup. Later, aunt also asked me when she need to scrape? I replied: “When you often feel tired, exhausted or want to sleep.” I also translated the questions of aunt and my response to my mother. My mother asked me to add that「刮痧能將身體的熱帶出」. Then I say that can take away the heat of body and you will feel relax.
After this experience, I found that my immediate response ability was insufficient. I can only respond with simple words or phrases. I clearly remembered some words that I had learned, but I could not use it immediately. I always think of it later, and I feel a little frustrated.
