New word -“ take into account “

I learned a new word -“take into account “from the Chapter 13 Of “The Third Ear” today.

Original sentence:
The important thing to remember is that, to be effective, the way you think about the world needs to take into account the context in which you find yourself.

“take into account “ means “ to consider“.

I try to practice making up sentences:

1. A good teacher takes into account the physical and mental development of the children.
2. I hope you will take into account her feelings before doing this.
3. I think you have to take into account his age and physical tolerance.

    This is great.
And, “take into account” is actually a metaphor. How does it work? You have a book of accounts, and you add new things to the accounts. You “take” them into the accounts.

I believe that’s the origin of the metaphor.
