How do most people respond to the idea that it is possible to learn a new language very quickly? Why do they think this way?

I also have the same thought. It is possible to learn a new language very quickly because most people don’t know how to learn a new language. So many ways to learn a language, for me, I used different ways to language English, attending class, self-learning, and watching Movies, of course, I have improved my language, but I spent a long time, I ask myself why some people can speak English very well, I learn many years still at the basic level. I may think I haven’t language talent. But these years I can say, the environment is very important, I made some foreign friends, and I have the opportunity to speak more. You learn it and you need to find the ways to use it, when you use it, you will remember it and this is yours.

Below is my experience with the wrong way to learn a language:

1. It is not very important in our life

Most people want to learn a second language, and maybe can find a better job in the future, but may feel the second language is not urgent for them, because they already have a mother language for communication. Can slowly learn. We will lose our motivation when the time is long.

2. Wrong Method to learn the language

When you used the wrong Method, you will hard to learn and never see the result, you can’t achieve your goal and you will be frustrated because you’ve paid for nothing. The wrong way of learning will make us hate and avoid learning.

3. Have not used it

We learn a new language; we need to use it. Most of the time, we are not opportunity to use what we learn. Some people feel shame or are not good enough to use it. If we don’t use it, we will easy to forget it. We always say practice makes perfect.

4. Give up.

When you learn a language for 3 to 5 years and still stay in the basics and then you want to give up, you will feel this is boring, and you can’t pick it up.

The Method to learn the language is very important for everyone, it will guide you on how to learn, and how to firm a foundation. We can feel that learning a second language isn’t so hard, we will keep our faith and continue to learn.
