Slow shopping

I saw the introduction of “slow shopping” on the Internet today, and I thought of IKEA.

“Slow shopping” is what stores are doing to get you to spend more time in their stores.

I remember the first time I went to IKEA for shopping, I couldn’t find the exit after two hours of walking, just like walking in the labyrinth.

IKEA successfully used the “slow shopping” strategy to arrange the malls like home, which will make customers forget the time and enjoy shopping .

However, for customers who have clear shopping goals, such an arrangement is very inconvenient.

So before going shopping next time, I will go to the service desk first to ask for the location of the exit.

One Response so far.

I have had the same experience shopping in Ikea. It’s very frustrating if you know what you want to buy, and don’t have time to just walk around looking at everything!
