When the author was at seminar in Hongkong, he met a young woman who said learning Chinese was very difficult. She worked solid it for two years , but she only had the basics. The author did not agree with her. He thought that mastering English had a few months. The woman thought the author was slightly mad.

   Rather than got into an argument with the woman, the author decided to write the “The Third Ear”. The book is about how to learn a new language easily and effectively. The author shared the strategies and techniques about him and other successful language learners. He wanted to tell the readers that every person has the natural language talent.

Before I read this book, I also thought learning English was very difficult. But now, I realize that my biggest problem was not using the good method to learn English.
