Yan Jhen-Fa, who is 66 years old, and had painted for an old theater in Tainan for 48 years. In the digital age, it’s in the edge of extinction for hand-painted poster. But it would not lessen his passion for painting. 

He had never seen the movie stars, but he painted so many he can’t remember all. 

He squats on a plastic stool and keel on the ground with 5 buckets of paint and brushes, holding a small image in his hand, then start to paint. It’s continued for 8 hours for painting with this posture. When he finishes, he also had to hang up the poster to the theater’s facade. 

His story encourage me, even he is partially blind, but I can see his passion and insistence on painting.
