the third ear 13-14 challenging the myth

As for learning foreign languages, I do believe it’s not difficult as we thought in the past. However, we also need some efforts to really master the language. First of all, it’s our confidence to master the language and we should set a higher aim and level for our our language learning. For example, in one third ear chapter, it’s demonstrated that some people living in another country for long time but they only know the local language at basic level due to their wrong belief that language is difficult to learn and lower learning aim set for themselves. Secondly, in order to master the language faster and easily, we also need to break through our embarassment hurdles, thus using more new language to convert our ideas with local people. For example, when I was in America last summer holiday, I tried to communicate with host family mother, but she didn’t really made sense of what I said and she told another sister fluent in English to help me, thus, I became shy  to express my ideas with her due to fear of embarassment and back to listening to them talking, which didn’t help me most at that valuable time.

Before I got to know kongfu English, I was frastrated faced with tremendous English materials and various English intonation. What was the point! However, I really appreciate someone with fluent English. I couldn’t find the right way to master the language as I think I couldn’t master it for every parts such as speaking, listenning, reading and writing. I really hope kongfu English can help me arrive at the destination of mastering English as I follow the journey.

When I come across unfamiliar words, I will skip it firstly and try to find what it means in the whole sentences, or, I wil turn to the English-English dictionaties.
