Thinking affects learning

My son is a 7-year-old boy, and is attending 2 grade of primary this year. When he was 6 years old, I was quite worried about his learning, and often asked him to hurry up, which didn’t work. This year, I want to change my methods.

Instead of criticizing and blaming, I’m going to encourage him. After all, if I were a child, I wouldn’t hope to be treated in this way. And that would be terrible. I thought that children should be taught tightly last year, but now I think if I have some gentle methods to help my son, why should I use the tough one. Family should have love, and shouldn’t over critical. I need some appropriate ways to educate my little son. When he do something wrong, I’m supposed to teach him what should do and what shouldn’t, analize the reason with him together, and encourage him that he can get better and I will suppose him. Now, this new method seems work. He can finish his homework more and more quickly, and get some fun as well. What’s more, I found that any child may have their own rhythm of learning, and they learn piece by piece, when they focus on one simple thing they can do it better than they do lots of things.

So, if I want my son to bring his interesting in learning out, then I need to help him focus on one thing and improve gradually to apply to his own ryhthm.

To conclude, positive thinking helps people’s learning, simultaneously, the appropriate rhythm of learning is incredibly important as well.
