“Your birthday is coming up. Are you having a birthday party?” Jackson asked, “Yes, my birthday is December 12th, and I’m having a birthday party this Saturday evening. Would you like to join?” I said “Yes, I will be free on that day, I would love to go to your birthday party, see you.” said Jackson.

(Fast foward to December 12th)

This morning I called the restaurant and made an advance reservation(预约）for dinner for my birthday party. The restaurant was located in the city center and opposite the movie theatre. It was ten miles from my house. It would take us thirty minutes to drive there. Today is Saturday and the birthday party will start at 6pm with twenty people in attendance.

At 5 pm, I got in the car, fastened my seat belt, I drove the car quickly along the street, Suddenly it rained heavily, so I drove the car under the low bridge. After a few minutes, the rain stopped. I drove the car away from the low bridge. It wasn’t even 5:50 in the afternoon, I was already at the restaurant, and my friends were waiting for me.

A few minutes later we went into the restaurant. I called to the receptionist and said “How can I get to the birthday party room?”. “Sir, your room number is six hundred and one, please take the elevator to the sixth floor, you can find it easily” said him. When we entered the room, I called to the waiter and ordered two bottles of wine, one white and one red. We also ordered some snacks. We opened the bottle of wine and poured the wine into the glass. Everybody picked up the glass and drank. As Jackson came up to me, He dropped the glass on the table. The glass was broken and spilled a lot of wine on the table. I immediately wiped the wine off the table with paper towels. He also spilled some wine on his trousers. I handed him a roll of paper towels and he wiped the wine off with the paper towels.

After the cake was ready, we lit the candles. After i blowing out the candles, we cut the cake with the knife. We then enjoyed the cake. Wow, It tasted good, It was delicious. The cake contained a lot of fruits, butter and cream. It was one of the best cakes that I have ever had.

At 9pm, It was time to leave, I called the waitress to pay the bill. I said: “waitress, I want to pay the bill by my credit card.”. She said “Sorry sir, we don’t accept credit cards, we only accept cash”. Although I usually carry cash with me, I forgot my wallet today, which is a big problem. What should I do? “You can pay by Wechat as well” Said the waiter. After paying the bill, we walked out of the restaurant and said goodbye to each other. It was a beautiful day. I love this birthday party.
