Going to Unfamiliar Places (Lesson 484)

Going to Unfamiliar Places (Lesson 484)

About the experience of go to unfamiliar places and speaking , I can talk a lot about it actually. Before COVID, people can travel around the world freedomly. Seriously, I really miss the days before COVID. As the saying goes, time gone never looks back.

Today, I will talk about my experience traveled in a small town in Eastern Europe. I don’t remember its exact name, but I remember the feeling of living in the town. A few years ago, I felt boring at that time. It’s just happened that my European visa came down. Suddenly, I had a visa and free time, I thought why I wouldn’t go abroad right away, after all time waits for no one! Then I bought the flight ticket on the app. In fact, I went to Prague first. Then somehow I got on a coach and went to that town. Maybe it’s fate.

I arrived the town at night, be honest, it was a long time for in the coach. Because it was a little late, the inn keeper droved me to the inn by his car. It’s nice for me. This inn, exactly this is a place that a dining bar and the inn. The first floor is the dining bar, when I arrived, it was a busy time. People ate and drank together and even sing together, it’s a lot more fun than I expected. In the end, I even joined in for a drink. Then I went upstairs to bed.

The next day, I was going out for a walk. Coincidently, It’s a wedding day for a couple. At that time, I looked at the couple were standing in the front of the restaurant to welcome guests. Well, The bride wore a daily red dress and the groom wore a casual gray suit were standing on the road beside to their wedding sign. That’s how I knew it was them getting married. Of course the couple were so perfect for each other, then I went to congratulate them too.

Actually, This situation was fantastic for me. In china, getting married is a very important and complex thing. A couple alway prepared a long time in advance. It was a big party in that day. And we chose the specific day from the lunar calendar. Then booking the hotel before 6 month in advance. At wedding time, the bride would get up very early, she should make up and change the wedding dress, and there are more various actions at home before the hotel. I used to be a bridesmaid and I was really exhausted at the end of the day. Not to mention the couple.

But in this town, the wedding day is so casual. They just talking, greeting and blessing. That’s all.
