New idiom ~ “ get in the way “

I learned new idiom-“get in the way “from the Chapter 16 Of “The Third Ear” recently .

Original sentence:
“ There are two basic mindsets that seem to consistently get in the way of learning a second language.”

“ get in the way “means
“ To obstruct or interfere with something. “

I try to practice making up sentences :

1. Lack of learning resources got in the way of Tony’s studies.
2. Please keep quiet when entering the library, and do not get in the way of other people.
3. Don’t let our frustrations get in the way of our future.
