New idiom ~ “ on balance “

I learned new idiom-“on balance“from the Chapter 15 Of “The Third Ear” recently .

Original sentence:
Your intentions for others are probably, on balance, positive.

“ on balance“means
“ stating an opinion after considering all the relevant factors.”

I try to practice making up sentences :
1. On balance, our efficiency in this activity has improved a lot.
2. I would say that, on balance, the study hasn’t been a bad this semester.
3. Their recommendations have , on balance , proven to be workable.
