New word – “formulate”

I learned a new word -“formulate” from the Chapter 14 Of “The Third Ear” recently .

Original sentence:

She still wanted to argue, and was formulating the next rebuttal when I gently lifted one eyebrow in a look of puzzlement.

“ formulate“ means “to develop all the details of a plan for doing something“.

I try to practice making up sentences.

  1. We try to formulate a new project of action.
  2. They formulated their own teaching strategies.
  3. I think it’s time to formulate the annual teaching plan.
