Making up situational dialogue ~ Let’s go for a movie

The topic of today’s dialogue practice was “Let’s go for a movie ”. Based on the course dialogue, I tried to lengthen the situational dialogue and imagine how I would express it under such situation.

A: Let’s go for a movie.
B: I am a bit hungry. Let’s get some food first.
A: There’s a cinema nearby, and they sell snacks, too.
B: Sounds good.
A: Let’s buy two tickets and some snacks.
B: Have something to drink as well.
A: Let’s eat in the rest area outside the screening hall.
B: Okay! The film we will watch later seems to be very popular. Look! A lot of people lined up to buy tickets.
A: It is said People say that the film has a tight plot and excellent actors. The most important thing is that it never runs out of steam.
B: I can’t wait to watch it !

” It is said that ” — often we would say “I hear that…” or “People say that…”
